Smart Stimulus Will Fix Unemployment Problem

The new unemployment figures are damned disappointing -- from a social, economic and political standpoint.

The president should scrap his cautious talk about compromise and bipartisanship. It's time to take a side.

She's supposed to know something about technology. But millionaire Senate candidate Carly Fiorina seems to be most interested in subdividing the net so that her pals can make money.

  The official jobless rate rose from 9.5 percent to 9.6 percent in august.
