Making the Case for a Summer Correction

In this business, people can to often focus on someone "making a call" on stocks, bonds, or commodities. Those who get major calls right are deemed to be gurus for a moment in time, particularly when that newfound rock star in the business of investing is on a hot streak of getting up and down moves right. I know this personally quite well. I became known in the media for getting several big picture calls right throughout 2011 and 2012, starting with the Summer Crash of 2011, to gold's breakdown at the peak, the corrections of 2012, and the melt up in between.
