AT&T seems to believe there are millions of millennials out there looking to sign up for something that resembles cable TV but costs less and doesn’t require proprietary equipment. To that end, the company rolled out its DirecTV Now service yesterday, with packages starting at $35 a month. DirecTV Now includes mobile-friendly features like full access to your channel lineup on mobile devices and if those devices happen to be on AT&T, video won’t count against your data caps either. But while DirecTV Now is intriguing, it’s not the first of its kind service, joining Dish Network’s Sling TV and Sony’s PlayStation Vue.
