President Obama's first two quarters in office, income redistribution
has been a hot-button topic among policymakers, the media, and the
general public. A new study by the Tax Foundation estimates by 2012 how much income will be redistributed, and where along the income spectrum, by the President's proposed budget. What the chart shows, for instance, is that families with income in the top 10 percent of households will bear the full weight of redistribution.
