Agriculture futures mostly fall on Chicago BOT

Agriculture futures were mostly lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery lost 8.75 cents to $5.08 a bushel, while December corn shed 2.75 cents to $3.795 a bushel and soybeans for January delivery slipped 7.5 cents to $9.90 a bushel. December oats were unchanged at $2.5425 a bushel.

In other trading, beef and pork futures mostly fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle dropped 0.55 cent to 85.67 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.08 cent to 95.65 cents a pound; December lean hogs shed 0.22 cent to 57.50 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.50 cents to 87.80 cents a pound.
