Agriculture futures mostly rise on Chicago BOT
The Associated PressAgriculture futures were mostly higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery added 9.75 cents to $5.255 a bushel, while December corn gained 5 cents to $3.95 a bushel and soybeans for January delivery rose 7.5 cents to $10.18 a bushel. December oats were unchanged at $2.57 a bushel.
In other trading, beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle dipped 0.05 cent to 85.65 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.10 cent to 95.37 cents a pound; December lean hogs added 0.15 cent to 57.70 cents a pound; while February pork bellies fell 0.85 cent to 88.30 cents a pound.
