Agriculture futures were mostly higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery added 9.75 cents to $5.255 a bushel, while December corn gained 5 cents to $3.95 a bushel and soybeans for January delivery rose 7.5 cents to $10.18 a bushel. December oats were unchanged at $2.57 a bushel.
In other trading, beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle dipped 0.05 cent to 85.65 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.10 cent to 95.37 cents a pound; December lean hogs added 0.15 cent to 57.70 cents a pound; while February pork bellies fell 0.85 cent to 88.30 cents a pound.
