TORONTO (Reuters) - A series of explosions at apropane facility in northern Toronto sent balls of flame highinto the sky and forced thousands of people from their homesSunday.
Early reports said two people were hurt in the pre-dawnblast. Amateur video showed an orange glow expanding into afireball and white smoke.
Canadian Press news agency reported homes had been damagedin the area. The explosion rattled windows many milesfrom the scene and closed one of Canada's busiesthighways, the 401 expressway. (Reporting by Janet Guttsman; Editing by John O'Callaghan)
