The Problems Of Paying Down Debt
You can deal with debt three ways: Either you pay it back, you default or, if you're a government, you can inflate it away. In the US, default seems to be top of the agenda. Europeans are pushing towards repayments, hence austerity drives for Greece and Ireland. And the UK is tilting towards inflation.
