'Most Sweeping Overhaul of Financial Regulation Since 1930s'

President Obama is set to unveil his administration's new financial regulatory reform plan later today. CNBC senior economics reporter Steve Liesman discusses the latest details of the plan.


According to Liesman: "What we're talking about here is the Obama administration posing easily and by far the most sweeping overhaul of financial regulation since the 30's. It would place most of the financial system as we know it under the watchful eye of Washington with a series of new bureaucracies to oversee it."
