Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke testified before the House Financial Services Committee in the first of two days of testimony as part of his semiannual Humphrey Hawkins testimony.
In his opening statement, he shed light on the central bank’s exit strategy, but made clear that the economy is currently too weak to start tightening monetary policy.
