Silva: EU Bank Loan Losses Could Be $425 Billion
The ECB's estimate of a further $238 billion in loan losses for banks is a "pretty generous number," according to Ralph Silva from SRN on Tuesday. He sees the amount coming in closer to $425 billion as some already problematic banks "have had to put money in to organizations that simply are not viable." Alan Capper from Lloyds Banking Group joined the discussion.
