Get Ready for 'More Frequent Recessions'
According to Lakshman Achuthan, managing director of economic research firm ECRI, Americans may be wise to prepare themselves for shorter expansions and more recessions throughout the decade.
Achuthan: "We're all used to expansions that last seven, eight, nine, even ten years. That is just not going to happen. There are patterns in the way that business cycles run that are dictating more frequent recessions."
