FDIC's Bair: There's 'a Bit of a Bond Bubble'
In the short term, the U.S. needs to deleverage the financial system and restore market discipline and must keep the effects of protracted low interest rates in mind, as a bubble seems to be developing in bond markets, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Chairwoman Sheila Bair told CNBC Tuesday.
