As the bull market begins its third year there are still any number of commentators and investors who contend that this is anything but a rally. They assert the secular bear market continues, and bulls will one day rue their posture. I respectfully disagree, as I have over the entire span, and contend that this is the real thing "“ a bull market of some duration with further potential.
In fact, if it follows the precedent of other, similar markets I calculate that the S&P 500 will top out over 2,000 in another two or so years.
