Global Investor Confidence Is Wearing Thin

Central bankers are trapped - and the markets fully appreciate that they have them trapped. The European Central Bank has badly deviated from its core principles but does at least have some anchor to policymaking. The Ben Bernanke Fed is completely lost at sea. It will be unnerving to watch how this all plays out.
