Imagine being asked ten years ago to predict what the tech landscape of 2011 might look like. It’s not completely unthinkable that you might have predicted powerful, thin mini computers in our pockets and on our laps. After all, today’s tablets and smartphones are logical extensions of old PCs and laptops. Moreover, computing and mobile devices have been getting progressively smaller and more powerful from the start.
Nonetheless, it is still remarkable to witness their rapid rise, increasing sophistication, growing processing power, rising connectivity speeds, diverse functionality, and sheer variety of sizes and options.
