Obama, Roosevelt, and the Politics of 'Fairness'

And here I thought the President Roosevelt most admired by Barack Obama was Franklin, but maybe it’s cousin Teddy.  Actually, it’s probably both.  Both Roosevelts railed against those with money as corrupters of all that’s good and fair in America.  Both thought the way to return to a “fair” society was by expanding the role of government.  And both thought the best way to pay for their efforts was to redistribute the wealth.  If that doesn’t sound like Barack Obama, I don’t know what does.
