Wind Industry Full of Hot Air

The American Wind Energy Association has begun a major lobbying effort in Congress to extend some soon-to-expire renewable-energy tax credits. And to bolster that effort, the lobby groupâ??s CEO, Denise Bode, is calling the wind industry â??a tremendous American success story.â?
But the wind lobbyâ??s success has largely been the result of its ability to garner subsidies.
