European finance ministers just love having meetings. Been having them for years.
The sky really is falling!!!
Just a short observation. That should be "sleight of hand", not "slight of hand". Which just proves that spell-check will never completely substitute for proof reading. (;-}
"but it got help from a on-time transfer of pension funds from the banks to the national government"
Kinda like when Clinton raided our social security fund to pay off the deficit. Socialism and big government is a failure. We have to get back to good ole capitalism very soon, all around the world.
"In 2011, Portugal narrowed its budget deficti to 4.8% from 9.8% in 2010, but it got help from a on-time transfer of pension funds from the banks to the national government"
WHAT? Taking people's pension funds to apply to the Federal deficit is the government "getting help"?
People beware of any ideology that desires increases in govt power or govt. involvement in your lives. We are merely govt slaves if govt can abscond with your retirement accounts, like Argentina stole it's citizen's lifetime savings, and this article claims Portugal did the same, without international protest.
Where was the media coverage for Argentina or Portugal's larceny?
well then, ok, mciahel.....
"(nobama in November)"
can you please expound upon your party's plan to pass universal healthcare, stop the shift of wealth to the top 1%, stop more oil wars and reduce the debt?
you have had thirty years and the only POTUS to balance the budget was Clinton who outranks ALL of your party's president's over that time period, including fifth worst of all time bush jr. and you have what for us - Romney? heh .... i am an independent, moderate midwest swing voter and my advice is get yerself an etch-a-sketch to while away the next four years ..... maybe think of some legislation that will actually pass Congress - like a dog-leash law (best to start small after all these years)
