Tomorrow’s employment number will probably be the last chance for President Obama to catch a break on jobs before the November election.
Wall Street is expecting to see job growth of 100,000 when the June figure is announced Friday at 8:30 a.m.
That’s pathetic growth by historical standards, but it would be much better than the 69,000 new jobs that appeared in May.
Team Obama 2012 might be tempted to applaud 100,000 new jobs — but it really should take some advice from me and hold off on the clapping for a while.
