In yet another vile speech last week (July 13th) President Obama railed against individualism, entrepreneurial initiative, business success, and the rich. Business achievement, he implied, is never truly earned, as long as you aren’t living on an island, or some government official exists somewhere to tax you, borrow from you, regulate you, or raise your cost of living by diluting the value of money. Is this not what government does today? It is. This fosters wealth creation? No, it does not. But the envious Mr. Obama insists that it does.
