Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s private foundation has announced the winners of its competition for mayors to develop innovative ideas “to solve major challenges and improve city life.” Hundreds of cities applied and twenty finalists were asked to submit applications in writing, and, smartly, asked to include a video that could be crowd-judged on the internet.
