We're All Economists Now: Lessons for High Schoolers

The reality is that we are all economists. We all deal with scarcity as we make choices and calculate how to ration various items and resources that we consume, produce and utilize. 7 billion economists figuring out how to best serve each other is better than a dozen (I’m sure Ivy League educated) economists calculating how the rest of us should be spending our time, or what we should or should not be consuming.
