We're Not Just Adding Part-Time Workers

The U.S. economy has enough problems without people making stuff up about how bad it is.

And so it is with all the sky-is-falling reporting in the past few weeks declaring that America is fast becoming a part-time hell. This coverage was prompted by the report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics that the number of full-time workers declined in June by 240,000 (on a seasonally adjusted basis), while the number of part-timers increased by 360,000 to a record high of 28.1 million.
