Funny thing happened on the way through earnings season — companies are beating the estimates, earnings per share up, yet revenues have been flat to down and the guidance has not been so rosy and yet, the market has had no response The S&P 500 is stuck really in the 1800 to 1850 trading range. There has not been enough "good news" to push the market to new highs, but not enough "bad news" to cause investors to bail ... that was, until Thursday.
