s this finally the end of the U.S. marketâ??s brief dominance and is King Dollar headed for its comeuppance? Will the rest of the world drag the outperforming U.S. into the mud?
I donâ??t think so. As a long-time bull on the U.S. (Iâ??ve said the U.S. would beat once-high-flying emerging markets for three years), I may have an ax to grind here.
But the U.S. markets, economy and central-bank policies have real strengths I donâ??t see elsewhere, and the multinationals in the S&P 500 are less dependent on the rest of the world than you might think.
