How Much Income From a $1M Nest Egg?

I hate to sound as if I'm equivocating, but the answer depends on a whole bunch of factors, including your age, your sex, the level of interest rates and the investment returns you earn, how long you would like the income to last and how much assurance you want that it will last that long.
