ust recently, an email found its way into my in-box with the subject line: "Commodities collapsed just before the last stock-market crash in 2008."
For some reason, this both got my attention, and at the same time, triggered my (for lack of a better term) less-than-truthful meter. True, commodities crashed in 2008 just before the stock market entered the steepest phase of its decline, but does that automatically imply a repeat?
