Written by Frank Loesser in the mid-1940s, Baby It’s Cold Outside originally appeared in the 1949 movie Neptune’s Daughter, which featured two performances of the song. One was by Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalban (of Fantasy Island fame) and the other was by Red Skelton and Betty Garrett.
