As Carly Fiorina grabs the spotlight as an emerging candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, her opponents — especially Donald Trump — are calling out her corporate track record, most notably her ouster from one of Silicon Valley’s greatest founding companies.
“I led Hewlett-Packard through a very difficult time, the worst technology recession in 25 years,” Fiorina said during the debate on Wednesday night, as she and Trump attacked each other over their business careers. “Despite those difficult times, we doubled the size of the company, we quadrupled its top-line growth rate, we quadrupled its cash flow, we tripled its rate of innovation.”
