For Apple, 2016 might be a year it would like to forget. Shares have lagged the market amid a continued slowdown in iPhone sales (its main growth engine) and mounting concern about business in China. It had to report its first quarterly sales drop in more than a decade and lost the faith of famed investor Carl Icahn.
