Beijing Is No Champion of Globalization

In his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chinese President Xi Jinping set out to establish himself as the standard-bearer for globalization. But, as has become increasingly evident over the past several years, China under Xi is far from an exemplar of global leadership.
