In the latest Wall Street Journal survey, economic forecasters "see rising risks of downturn." The cited risks mention two that have dissipated — December stock market declines and fear of endless robotic Fed rate hikes. The single most frequently mentioned risk (four times) is "a worsening trade dispute with China," and a related "slowdown in other major economies, such as China."
