COVID cases tied to the Delta variant are increasing around the world. That realization ostensibly led to some broad-based selling this past Monday that had the Dow Jones Industrial Average down as many as 946 points, or 2.7%, the Nasdaq Composite down 248 points, or 1.7%, the S&P 500 down 94 points, or 2.2%, and the Russell 2000 down 56 points or 2.6%.
It was an ugly start to the week alright, but it was just a start -- literally.
