On Nov. 20, Disney replaced Chapek as CEO Bob Iger, who had led the company from 2005 to 2020. According to the New York Times, “pressure [had] been building from activist investors, with Nelson Peltz’s Trian Fund Management joining [Dan] Loeb’s Third Point in calling for big changes.”
