There’s a quip about Whole Foods that it’s actually “Whole Paycheck.” Get it? Not terribly witty, bur arguably indicative of remarkable progress.
In an age of staggering abundance, consumers can be choosey about what they buy. The proliferation of Whole Foods across the U.S. (and around the world) signals a growing desire for better quality groceries, and the means to pay for them.
