Bill Gates has cash and lots of it. As of June 2, Gates has a net worth of nearly $116 billion, making him the fifth-wealthiest individual in the world. Gates doesn't plan on keeping all of that cash – he famously said in July 2022, after donating $20 billion to his Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, that he'll just keep giving his cash away until nothing is left.
