Small Business Needs Tax Relief, Not More Gov't Intervention

Small businesses are feeling pessimistic about economic conditions in the U.S. Pursuing tax cuts and regulatory relief are the initiatives lawmakers need to prioritize to ease the burdens.

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index remains below average, indicating that small businesses are displeased with the current economic environment—citing inflation as the top concern. Inflation is a problem that has been exacerbated by unbridled government spending and shoddy monetary policy conducted by the Federal Reserve (Fed).
