Before we begin, I am a generational Episcopalian. I am imperfect and a woeful sinner. I would be a broken man if not for the Holy Spirit who infuses me with joy and happiness and frees me from anxiety. The joy I have felt within the pews of my Episcopal church is incomparable to any sensation I’ve ever felt. Yet, I am susceptible to suggestions at odds with the creator of my joy. One must be ever vigilant.
Extreme Left-wing politics, totally anti-thetical to the tenets of Christianity have taken over the Episcopal Church. I’ve told many a minister that I could give a sermon every Sunday and nobody would know if I were a Democrat or Republican, a conservative or a liberal. Politics is a false and divisive god. We need the divine to dwell within us. We don’t need misguided political lectures from the pulpit.
