Americans need life to be affordable again. Families feel the squeeze from rising costs and stagnant wages, and voters increasingly see electricity as a core affordability challenge. And power demand is surging due to the reshoring of manufacturing, rapid growth of AI and data infrastructure, and population shifts across the country. When electricity becomes expensive or constrained, everything built on it costs more. The question before us is practical: Do we have enough power to fuel American ambition?
