Alert the Regulators, Texas Has Oil Company Monopoly

In 1911, the government trustbusters split Standard Oil into multiple state-based energy companies, which eventually were renamed Exxon (NJ), Mobil (NY), Amoco (Indiana), Chevron (California), Conoco (Utah), Marathon (Ohio), and others.
