E. Benjamin Nelson is a former U.S. Senator and Governor for the State of Nebraska, as well as the Director of the Nebraska Department of Insurance. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) from 2013 through 2016. Sen. Nelsoncurrently serves as CEO of Insurance Care Direct, a health and life insurance agency, and consults for other industry groups.
