Joe Biden Will Err Mightily If He Blocks Nippon/U.S. Steel

It may not be as damaging as Herbert Hoover’s Smoot-Hawley tariffs, or Richard Nixon’s wage-price controls,  but a decision by President Biden to block the Nippon-U.S. Steel deal would be one of the worst economic and foreign policy decisions ever made by a U.S. President.
