CA's Plan to Block Paramount/WBD Merger Will Flop

The 12 Democratic attorneys general suing to challenge the merger of Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. may have just gotten what they wanted. Last month, Paramount agreed to delay its acquisition until June 2027 or after its antitrust case concludes, whichever comes first. Blowing up the merger could be disastrous for California and the movie industry. But California Attorney General Rob Bonta, who is leading the lawsuit, wants to do it anyway. Read Full Article »
