I once saw a picture of my Dad in a NAZI uniform giving the Heil Hitler salute. He had Nazi paraphernalia in his closet. Dear Kamala, did that make my dad a NAZI?

Dad and his three brothers all volunteered for service in the armed forces after Pearl Harbor. Dad was a young officer. He hit the beaches on D-Day. He helped liberate Paris. He led a company of men in the freezing cold during the Battle of the Bulge. He was wounded by shrapnel, but never came off the front lines. How well I remember the scar on his back from where he was wounded.  He marched into Germany, and when Germany was defeated, he volunteered for service in the Pacific. Every Christmas, he would tinkle the ivories and sing the only piano song he knew how to play and belt out this chorus: “there’s a German in the grass, stick a bullet up his ass,  da-ta-da, da-ta-da, da-ta-da.

Dad was not a NAZI, and if anyone seriously suggested he was, it would take me 3 seconds to punch them in the mouth. Yes, there was a picture of Dad goofing around with his buds in Germany giving the Heil Hitler salute in a captured uniform, and he had a box of old letters that contained among other war souvenirs, a couple of Nazi insignias. Knowingly conflating something innocent into something evil is a tool of those who are evil.

The unhinged Left’s new marching orders is to call Donald Trump and anyone who associates with him a NAZI. General John Kelly, a holdover from the Obama administration was fired by President Trump in December 2018.   Now, two weeks before the 2024 election, he states that Donald Trump said that “Hitler did some good things.” Of course, there’s absolutely no evidence Trump said this, and every other person who witnessed the alleged conversation denies that he did, but who cares if he did? What thinking man has not had an honest discussion about the careers of bad people?

The incredible immaturity of the unhinged Left should insult everybody with an IQ over 65. They approach national issues of great importance with the same fervor and maturity as the mean girls on the junior high cheerleading team deciding who can sit at their lunch table.  If you are not one of the cool chicks, like us, everything about you sucks.

Hitler was from a nobody Austrian family. He fought bravely in WWI and was awarded the Iron Cross.  At war’s end, he was in the hospital, blinded by mustard gas and in extremely poor health. I’ve always found it amazing that 4 years later, this lowly corporal leads a coup (the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch) alongside the very aristocratic General Ludendorff. He obviously had talents. He was a brilliant orator. Hitler was popularly elected and appointed Chancellor in 1933 when there were six million unemployed Germans, by 1936, there were less than 1 million. He oversaw a massive infrastructure program. I’m not a fan of many of his economic initiatives, but it is not unreasonable for one to state that “he did some good things.” Indeed, it is the hallmark of wisdom to be able to critically assess the record of one of history’s most hated villains, as opposed to allowing blind prejudice curtail any discussions of interesting facts that aren’t extremely negative.  Honest observations do not diminish that Hitler was born or at some point in his life became a demonic megalomaniac and mass murderer.  It is insultingly childish for people in power to denigrate someone for making a reasonable comment. Over the weekend, Trump gave a 3-hour interview with Joe Rogan and the breath of his knowledge over dozens of different subjects was quite impressive. Instead of communicating with voters about substantive issues in Trump-like detail, the Kamala Harris strategy, aided by media sycophants, is to simply call him a NAZI. It’s insulting, juvenile and reeks of extreme ignorance.

What is so clearly evident is they themselves are the ones that most emulate the tactics of Hitler’s “National Socialist Worker’s Party.”  The Russian collusion hoax was nothing more than a Beer Hall Putsch. The looting and burning mob during the George Floyd riots were the Brownshirt shock troops of the Democrat Party.  How about the Reichstag fire? Clearly, the Democrats took a page from the Nazis and made January 6th an “insurrection,” allowing them to jail political opponents and grab more power.  Kristallnacht was two days of burning and looting in November 1939, the George Floyd burning and looting lasted well over 100 days. Like Hitler, the Democrats have weaponized all departments of government. The Gestapo was Hitler’s national police force. Our national police force, the F.B.I. has been totally politicized and is under the thumb of the Democratic Party. On January 1, 1934, Hitler’s Schriftleitergesetz became law, and journalists had to register with the government and go through training programs run by the German government. How is this different than the Biden administration’s collusion with Big Tech and the daily instructions from “Party” officials to cancel the voices of opposition? Hitler used pre-existing gun registration laws to deny ownership of guns to all his political enemies, but the government and his NAZI political allies could keep their guns. Sound familiar? Banning books? Which party favors calling facts and opinion they don’t like “disinformation” and actually set up a Homeland Security Department division to cancel opposing ideas? How many social media sites have been shut down by the Democrat apparatchiks threatening YouTube, Facebook and other platforms? If a Martian came down to earth, the first thing he would say is why do Democrats hate Jews? Why do they coddle savage barbarians? Seems pretty NAZI like to me. Hitler consolidated power by spreading fear, such that the ignorant and fearful would cling to the Party for protection. Remember Biden’s September 1, 2022 “red light flashing” Independence Hall speech?  The NAZIs forced medical experiments on less than 1% of its own population. Yet, the Democrats forced medical experiments on all 330 million Americans, despite the Nuremberg Code forbidding it. Indeed, Hitler was pro-vaccine,  but refused compulsory vaccines for the German people out of respect for individual choice.    What about the NAZI political patronage system? One had to be a member of the Party to work for the German government?  Mmmm, likely 90% of the federal work force in Washington are Democrats. What about jailing political prisoners? Awarding government contracts to loyalists? I could go on.
