Stupid is as stupid does.
I’ve never given much thought to Forrest Gump’s mother’s astute observation. These riots in Minneapolis bring great clarity, along with the Southernism, “you can’t fix stupid.”
A thousand years from now, when a new Gibbon examines how Western civilization committed its own suicide, he will lay a healthy amount of blame on social media video and allowing consumers of the latter the right to vote. Gibbon will state that, instead of being well informed by reading encyclopedic books on weighty subjects, the overly emotional and their metrosexual revolutionaries experienced sensory overload by watching 12-second videos, which caused them to foam at the mouth and convulse into histrionic fits. They then believed they knew everything about the subject matter, much like someone thinking they are an expert on World War II after watching one episode of Hogan’s Heroes.
A prime example of this phenomenon that destroyed enlightened thinking is the video of Alex Pretti being shot by ICE officers in Minneapolis. The overly emotional, logically deficient, womanized humans imagined this was the first time in history that a law enforcement officer ever shot and killed a civilian in the U.S. Yet it happens 1,200 times per year—about three times a day. Almost always, it is for the same reason Pretti was shot. Gibbon II will explain that these androgynous anthropoids then extrapolated that ICE randomly kills innocent bystanders for the fun of it. The fact that there is no other law enforcement agency in the United States with a lower percentage of fatal outcomes per incident than ICE is a fact the video-inflamed mind cannot consider. Moreover, immigration officers shot and killed over 100 people under Clinton, Obama, and Biden.
For years in business, I felt I had a mellifluous golden tongue, which I employed with great dexterity, using the art of reason and logic to move my subject into a position benefiting both of us. I never thought my skills would fail until years later, when I had my first frustrating experience. This time, the recipient of my logic and smooth rhetoric (a woman) did the opposite of what was in her personal best interest to an astonishing degree. I banged my head against the wall. I was despondent. Had I lost my touch? Slowly, I realized that some people are just plain crazy, and as we know, “you can’t fix stupid or crazy.”
This revelation occurred to me at the tail end of the golden years, a period much like King Arthur’s Round Table before social media, when everyone seemed happy and normal and the only crazy person I knew was Mrs. Hopkins, an 80-year-old alcoholic who used to walk around fashionable neighborhoods clad in her fur coat, pulling her imaginary dog, Fluffy, on an invisible leash.
My, how things have changed. We are in the midst of a Dumb and Crazy epidemic of historic proportions. It’s been gaining strength for the past 20 years, and now this storm of stupidity has reached Category 5 hurricane strength. Notably, its ascension has coincided with the cell phone and social media. Witness Minnesota. Nutjobs are protesting ICE enforcement officers taking murderers, rapists, child sex traffickers, and violent drug lords off the street. To show solidarity with the nutjobs, Minneapolis has released over 500 murderers, rapists, child sex traffickers, and drug lords from custody, putting them back onto the streets to rape and murder its own citizens and their children.
I have a concealed carry permit. Let’s say I got fired from my last job for being mentally unhinged. Now I spend my days telling ICE officials I want them dead, physically accosting them, spitting on them, and destroying federal property. I witness ICE making an arrest of dangerous criminals, and I intercede on behalf of the criminals and try to pull them away from ICE officers. I have a visible loaded gun and get physical with ICE officers. At this point, I am a raving lunatic who has committed several felonies, and I am fighting with five ICE agents. My fellow terrorists are sounding bullhorns and loud whistles, purposefully to disorient and confuse the very ICE officers who need to make a quick and sober decision about whether to shoot my ass or not. In the struggle, the officers think I am about to pull a gun on them. They kill me. Every sane person understanding these facts would say I’m a dumbass motherf#cker, and I must be criminally insane. Yet there are millions of stupid people who think federal law enforcement officers publicly executed me just for the fun of it. Remember when Forrest stepped in dog doo? Sh#t happens!
As I have said many times in this column, there is and has been a well-coordinated Marxist insurgency underway that recruits stupid and crazy people, radicalizes them, and sends them into the streets to cause mayhem. They dearly hope a few of their people get shot—it’s good for the cause. We know that at least a dozen NGOs and nonprofits that have received tens of millions in federal funding are paying for the Minnesota insurgency, in concert with dark money coming from the U.S.’s most bitter and evil enemies. The data is incontrovertible; we even have all their Signal chats, where moles in government, such as Minnesota’s lieutenant governor, are organizing the violence along with multiple secret operatives co-opting state resources and databases to locate ICE agents and their supporters, find their identities, and threaten to kill them and their families. It’s all out in the open.
I can understand the Marxist insurgents. Hell, I respect them for being the hate-filled, destroy-the-world nihilists they are. What is more puzzling is the otherwise normal housewife, sensitized by 12-second videos, who cannot comprehend that she is supporting the very people who want to slit her throat.
So if facts and logic won’t turn these people around, how can society survive their brainwashed ignorance? Here’s how. These folks want to be accepted by what they perceive to be the fashionable crowd. They yearn for purpose and a sense of belonging. They feel smug and important, but most of them are terribly insecure about their intelligence, which is why they are so easily radicalized. Being told how to think is much easier than doing the hard work that produces critical thinking—like reading the original Gibbon.
I once thought, with enough media, conservatives and libertarians could bombard vacuous numskulls with facts and logic and thus sway them out of darkness and into the light. I now understand that facts and logic are like holy water to little Regan MacNeil. Their whole identity is threatened by facts and logic. What they want is approval and a group that praises them for their faux intelligence. The solution? They need to be told they are stupid and crazy—over and over again. They are weak, image-seeking people with low self-esteem. Emotionally fragile but struggling hard to be taken seriously, the last thing they want is to be belittled and ridiculed for being dumb as dirt and crazy as fuc#ing loons. Nobody should be nice to them. They should be ostracized and ridiculed.
Thus, non-commie, America-loving Dear Reader, I propose that all of you get with your local community leaders and put up billboards on your local interstate with pictures of fat, frumpy, blue-haired women and their low-T male cohorts, with captions reading: “These People Are Insane and Dumber than Dirt.”
